Whoo-hoo, I'm getting a good sized check in the mail....

Have I told you about Opinion Outpost?  You take a survey and then get rewarded.  Either in cash or gift cards.  I chose cash-so much easier! 

So, say you take a survey for 20 points.  That is actually $2.  Their surveys are quick and painless and I've done quite a few 50 point (yes $5) !

Getting stuff for free

Yesterday I got a Conair Fabric Steamer FOR FREE!!!!!

I was so excited when I opened it because I had completely forgotten about it and never got an e-mail that I won it!  Did I enter a sweepstakes?  Nope, I just have to give my opinion of it..AND IT'S MINE!!!  If you can't tell, I've wanted one of these for awhile!

I would say that most days I get something for free in my mailbox.  How do I do it?  Here are some easy steps for you to know...

1. Set up a separate email account.  I use hotmail but you can use gmail, yahoo, and of those free accounts.  The main thing is you just want it separate from your day to day e-mail.  You will get flooded with e-mails to this account and you don't want something important lost among these other emails!

2. Register at these sites (with the separate email account) and the freebies will start pouring in...
a. Viewpoints (this is the company that I got the steamer from)-If you write 10 reviews you can be awarded with a gift card!
b. Kraft First Taste-atleast once a month I check my account and get a coupon for a free Kraft product(s).
c. Shoptext-Magazines will have code words to text to 467467 from time to time.  Register now so you're set up!
d. Recycle Bank-You can earn points by recycling (and other Green Actions) and redeem the points for high value coupons.
e. Store reward programs- My favorites; Ulta, Sephora, Rite Aid, Walgreen's, Staples, Office Depot, Safeway, Albertson's, Fred Meyer, and many more!  If you're shopping at a store sign up and use that other e-mail account!  Believe it or not, there is even a reward program at Burgerville-craziness!
f. Individual companies also have product specific reward programs..Huggies, Disney Movie Rewards, Stouffer's, Poptarts, if you have a favorite product Swagbuck it and see if they have a reward program!
g. Of course my favorite of them all...Swagbucks!  What is Swagbucks? Go here and 'take a tour'.

3. Write e-mails/letters to the companies that make your favorite products!  This takes a couple minutes but I don't think I could add up how many free things I have gotten this way.  CouponingtoDisney does a 5 a day campaign where she lists the companies she has contacted and what she received.

Disney Movie Rewards

Although I'm sure I've seen these codes in my kid's DVDs, I just recently joined the Disney Movie Rewards.  It's a super easy way to earn points and then get items for free!  I have also earned $10 off coupons for movies that my kids will love!
